Why Nimmagadda needs house at Hyderabad High court questions
High court of Andhrapradesh has ired over the State Election Commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Ramesh kumar for maintaining residence at Hyderabad. The court has questioned what is the need of residing at Hyderabad being a SEC to the state of Andhrapradesh. On Thursday the court Thursday gave a shock to state election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who tried to corner the Jagan government saying it was not releasing funds to the SEC.
Ramesh Kumar approached the high court complaining the court that the AP government didn’t release the funds of Rs.40 lakh due to be given to the SEC for conducting the local body elections But on the advocate of state government explained the court that the money had already been released on Tuesday morning itself.
The advocate clarified to the court on the allegation of Nimmagadda that the state government was not cooperating with the SEC for conducting free and fair elections. He said whenever the elections are announced, the government would cooperate in all aspects. But Ramesh Kumar again alleged that the government didn’t sanction additional attenders to be provided for him at his residence at Hyderabad. Than the court is seriously ired over Ramesh Kumar and questioned why he, being the SEC for Andhra Pradesh, needed an official residence in Hyderabad and another residence In Vijayawada. Its noting but wasting of public money. We cant expect such things from SEC.’ court said.
