Telugu Advocates In Delhi oppose bar decision
The resolution they passed was one sided
No meeting was organize in this regarding.
The statement, resolution released by Delhi bar association in supporting judicial officials, especially senior judges has created rift between advocates there. The Delhi bar association has termed that compliant lodged by Chief minister YS Jagan to chief justice is nothing but a attacking on entire judicial system and the bar has condemned the step taken by Jagan. But on Friday Telugu advocates In Delhi have extended their support to Jagan.
Many Telugu advocates belonging to Bar Council of India and Delhi Bar Association found fault with the association leaders adopting resolution attacking Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for lodging a complaint with chief justice of India against a section of judiciary.
It may be mentioned that both the bar council and bar association had adopted resolutions condemning the letter written by Jagan to CJI making allegations against Supreme Court judge N V Ramana and some high court judges stating that they were trying to topple his government.
The Telugu advocates of Delhi high court and Supreme Court said the bar council or bar association had taken the decision in their own , without consulting the members of bar association. They alleged that Bar association didn't conduct any meeting and didn't inform anybody regarding the resumption they passed and circulated in social media.
It was not a fight between legislature and judiciary, the Telugu advocates said the chief minister had waited for a long time before opening up. The Telugu advocates said the bar associations should stand by the people and not the benches. The resolutions adopted by the bar associations had no value at all.
