TDP’s “Insider Trading” in Amaravati exposed
The special session of the AP Assembly had exposed the “Insider Trading” allegation against the TDP in the capital Amaravati villages. Minister for Finance Buggana Rajendranath had revealed how the insider trading was carried out by the TDP leaders between June 2014 to December 2014, before Amaravati was declared as capital region.
Buggana Rajendranath listed out how, when, where and who purchased the lands in the 29 villages of the Amaravati even before they were named part of the capital. The names of the TDP leaders who have purchased lands right on the outer boarder of the capital city proposed by Chandrababu Naidu government, were also revealed on the floor of the Assembly.
Starting from Chandrababu Naidu, whose family heads and owns the Heritage Group, the finance minister had revealed the names of the leaders, the lands with survey numbers that were purchased by them and wondered how they purchased these lands in various names.
The finance minister also exposed and explained how the TDP government had sold the lands to the private companies at throw away price and to the government organisations at higher prices. The minister told the Assembly that lands in Amaravati were sold in crores of rupees for the government organisations including RBI and defence, while the same lands were sold in a few lakh of rupees to the private companies, including star hotels.
The finance minister had thus exposed why Chandrababu Naidu, his TDP and his community was firm on retaining Amaravati and why they are fighting for this cause. The long speech of the finance minister also exposed the nexus and the conspiracy behind the Amaravati agitation in which the farmers are also being involved.
