TDP wrong propaganda on Polavaram

A section of the media came in for severe criticism for disseminating fake news that industries are being shifted from the state and on the incompletion of Polavaram project works.

Speaking to media on Monday, Minister for water Resources P Anil Kumar Yadav said Rs 800 crore has been recused in Polavaram project work, but that news was not carried by those publications. They are trying to sideline the issue of I-T raids on Personal Secretary for 15 years by former Chief Minister and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu. ‘Why there was no news on these I-T raids in these media publications?' he questioned. He said various other media publications have carried this news but the media publications that are in favour of Naidu are trying to sideline the issue.‘If you want to promote Naidu, it is your wish. We do not care whether you carry development issues by the government but do not promote fake news and mislead the public,' he said.

‘How much amount has been spent and what works have been done for the Polavaram project during 2014-17?' He questioned a section of media that is trying to defame the government.

He recalled TDP's agitation on the Central government during I-T raids on CM Ramesh and Sujana Chowdary. ‘Now, TDP is afraid of agitation against Central government,' he added.

'It is awful that a newspaper which has 30 t0 35 years of experience carrying such fake news,' he said.'What industries have you brought to the state ad what works gave been completed for the Polaravam project?' He questioned and added that the YSRCP government would complete all the irrigation project works.

The state under Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is moving forward and the government is delivering transparent governance. ‘It is quite evident now how the previous TDP government had used the officials for its irregularities, he said. He suggested this section if the media not to carry such fake news and lose credibility.
