Former TDP MLA Joins YSRCP
Ramesh Babu blames Naidu for his selfishness
Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, former MLA from Visakhapatnam has joined YSR Congress party on Friday. Ofcourse, he may be the former MLA and the government may not need his support but stepping out of TDP and joining YSRCP would definitely influence the mindset of the people and local cadre of North Andhra. On Friday he joined YSRCP in the presence of party president and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Amaravathi. He served as MLA for two times. From Pendurthi and Yalamanchili constituencies of Visakhapatnam district. Actually he quit the TDP in May as a supporter of decentralization. He could not support Chandrababu Naidu and cant stand with the TDP as a leader who prefers Vizag as administrative capital. Later Ramesh Babu spoke to media and alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is sprinkling poision over North Andhra and he is in favour of Amaravathi only.
Chandrababu Naidu was committed only to secure the interests of his henchmen. He stated Chandrababu Naidu provoked us to stage dharnas against the proposal to make Visakhapatnam as the executive capital. As a person from North Andhra, we are wholeheartedly supporting the decision taken by YS Jaganmohan Reddy for making Vizag as executive capital. The chief minister’s decision was based on a broad thought to develop all regions in equal priority. Some more TDP leaders also likely to quit Telugu Desam and join YSRCP.’ He said.
