President, others condole Vizag deaths
Led by President Ram Nath Kovind many national and State leaders have consoled the deaths in Vizag gas leak and wished speedy recovery of those in hospital.
President Ram Nath Kovind condoled the victims and prayed for the recovery of the injured. Through a social media platform, the President said, "Saddened by the news of a gas leak in a plant near Visakhapatnam which has claimed several lives. My condolences to the families of the victims. I pray for the recovery of the injured and the safety of all. I am confident that the administration is doing everything possible to bring the situation under control at the earliest,"
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu expressed sadness over the incident and condoled the death of people in the Visakhapatnam gas leak incident. “Deeply distressed by the loss of lives due to gas leak. My condolences to bereaved families and wishes for a speedy recovery of those taken ill,” he said in a tweet.
Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy stated that the Union Government has taken an active role in rescue operations and has been closely monitoring the situation along with the State government. Reacting to the incident he said all necessary help will be provided for those affected. He expressed his deep-felt condolences to the bereaved families and those who have been hospitalized.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan expressed grief over gas leak mishap. He has ordered the State officials to take up rescue activities on war footage. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed shock and grief over the incident. Terming the tragedy as unfortunate, KCR wished speedy recovery of the affected.
