Naidus ‘Bus Yatra’, a preparation for local elections ?
It’s a chance to rejuvenate the cadre
The former Chief minister and chief of TDP N.Chandrababu Naidu is searching a good cause to reach the public and to re charge the cadre of Telugu Desam. After the utterly defeating in general elections , Naidu could not find any convincible reason to meet the public and to sling mud on the government as the Chief Minister is gradually getting grip over the administration and on the other side implementing the welfare schemes like Amma Vodi, Vasati Deevena, Rythu Bharosa , YSR Kanti Velugu and others. Now Chandrababu naidu has owned the ‘Save Amaravathi’ Movement and played some drama in the villages of Amaravathi area but could not draw the attention of the public from rest of the AP. Now Naidu is planning to tour pan Andhra to activate his party cadre, which is completely discouraged after the elections.
Naidu will go on a “bus yatra,” apparently to rejuvenate the party leaders and cadre before the forthcoming local body and municipal elections in the state. The “Praja Chaitanya Yatra,” which kicks off from Martur town of Parchur assembly constituency in Prakasam district on Wednesday morning, will cover more than 100 assembly constituencies in 13 districts over a period of one and half month. Though Naidu says his Yatra is aimed at exposing the failures of the nine-month old YSR Congress party government in the state headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, it is quite obvious that it is a desperate attempt to revitalise the party cadres to face the ensuing local body elections . He alleged that people of AP are totally disappointed with the poor performance of Jagan and appealing the public to support TDP for better governance. During the bus yatra, Naidu would address some public meetings also.
