First time on media, Prime minister Narendra Modi appeared with wearing face mask while addressing the chief ministers of various states to discuss on preventive measures of Corona virus and the present situation in the country. Even the chief ministers of various states also wear masks and spoke to the prime minister through video call. Most of the CMs including KCR of Telangana and Navin Patnaik of Odisha have expressed their interest to extend the lock down till the end of this month. This is third time of Modi, interacting with CMs after Corona pandemic started in the nation. He said ‘ I am available 24X7 and any Chief minister can call me any time and give me suggestions on control methods of Covid-19. It’s the time for us to stand shoulder to shoulder in the fight against this disease. He advised the CMs to implement the lockdown strictly to control the spreading of virus. Some CMs appealed to give some incentives for agri sector for support and some appealed him to send testing kits for rapid testing. Bihar state appealed to give relaxation in lock down as many works under rural development are stalled and lakhs of families are affected. Arvind Kejrwal, CM of Delhi said that extension of lock down is a wise decision taken by Modi.
Any how finally most of the CMs understood that the same lockdown situation would be continued for some more days.
