Home minister consoles the family of Varalaxmi, gives cheque
Once again the government of Andhra pradesh, headed by the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy proved that it would respond rapidly towards victims and support them in many ways. The government has quickly responded on the issue of a girl named Varalaxmi murdered by a friend in Gajuwaka on the evening of Saturday and announced a compensation of Rs.10 lakhs to the family of the girl.
The Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan dirercted the police to handle the case with utmost care and arrest the accused. Even he announced the financial support to the family member of the girl. Within 24 hours of the announcement made by the CM, on Monday the home minister M.Sucharitha visited the family and handed over the cheque Rs.10 lakhs to the parents of the deceased girl.
The quick response has resembles the gas leakage accident occurred at RR Venkatapuram of Gopalapatnam area on 7 May this year. On that indecent also the chief minister announced huge compensation of Rs.1 Crore to each deceased family and with in a day the amount was disbursed to the families.
In this brutal incident also the government has quickly responded and the accused Akhil Sai, who has slit the throat of the girl Varalakshmi was arrested and booked under Disha act and remanded for 14 days. The people of Andhra pradesh have noticed how responsible the government is. How quickly its supporting the families of the victims.
