Karakatta residents including CBN informed to evacuate
Ofcourse the former Chief minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is not living in Andhrapradesh, he is forced to observe the climatic conditions and water flow in river Krishna as his house is located near by Krishna river. The government of Andhrapradesh, minisety of water resources has issued notices to the residents of Karakatta area as Krishna as the river would be flooded as the catchment areas are getting heavy rains and the river is getting heavy inflow too. As a result, the government has directed all the 36 residents including Chandrababu Naidu to evacuate the area as precautionary measures.
The officials said that more than 5,000 cusecs of water has been released into the East, West canals. The water level reached 16.2 feet at the barrage. The inflow was 6.66 lakh cusecs and outflow is 6.61 lakh cusecs. People residing in low-lying areas and near by the Prakasham barrage have been alarmed and directed to relocate so some other areas as the area likely to be submerged due to heavy flow. Ramalingeswara Rao Nagar RanigariThota, Yanamalakuduru, Krishna Lanka are already surrounded by water. The government has installed control rooms for any further, emergency information and revenue, police departments are monitoring the flood situation to meet any emergency situation. Any how, Chandrababu Naidu also was alerted to vacate his home, but he is not at Andhrapradesh and not in a position to come here to look after his home and to visit flood affected areas.
