The Andhrapradesh government has made all arrangements to disburse compensation to every individual of Rs.10,000 to be disbursed today as promised by the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Actually the chief minister visited Visakhapatam immediately after the gas leaked at LG Polymers in which mishap 12 have lost their lives and some more are affected. Later he announced the compensation of Rs.one crore to each deceased family and Rs.1 Lakh for every person, who admitted in various hospitals in Vizag. 319 persons , who admitted at hospitals and treated more than three days were already paid Rs.one lakh . 94 people, who got first aid in KG Hospital and primere health centers and discharged with in a day were paid Rs.25,000 each. Only one, person,who is still under ventilator at a private hospital is paid Rs.10 Lakh rupees.Apart from all these compensations, the chief minister Jagan Mohan reddy assured that every individual living in the affected area, identified by the revenue staff would be paid Rs.10,000 each. As per the promise, the ward volunteers have conducted door to door survey and identified that 20,554 are living in 6,297 house holds in RR Venkatapuram, Nandamuri Nagar and some other colonies there. For these, the government has released Rs.20.55 crores and the amount would be credited into their individual bank accounts today.
