Compensation disbursed to kin of deceased killed in gas leak
The government of Andhrapradesh has disbursed the compensation amount to the kin of the deceased in gas leak accident at Visakhapatnam.
The government announced for various victims and they range from Rs.1 cr to Rs.10,000. The ministers M.Srinivasaeao, K.Ksnnababu ,Botcha Satyanarayana are instructed by the chief minister YS Jagan mohan Reddy to take care of the victims and undertake all rescue operations including medical assistance and evacuation activities at RR Venkatapuram. On Monday the ministers handed over the cheque to the family members of deceased Rs.one crore each.
Some of the gas leak victims received cheques from Tourism Minister M. Srinivasa Rao, Minister for Roads and Buildings Dharmana Krishna Das, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botcha Satyanarayana and the district in-charge Minister K. Kannababu. The government has released the funds of Rs.30 crores soon after visiting the CM here . Even the rehabilitation works also being undertaken in a war foot basis. 12 are killed and 200 more admitted at various hospitals when a poisonous gas leaked from LG polymers 7 May.
