CAT stalls the suspension of IRS officers Krishna Kishore
Central administrative tribunal(CAT) has objected the suspension imposed by the YSRCP government on an IRS officer J.Krishna Kishore and at the same time it has directed the Krishna Kishore to face the cases which are registered by the AP government.
The IRS officer was abnormally encouraged by the previous AP Government headed by Chandrababu Naidu and he had involved many business deals organized by TDP government.But the YSRCP government has suspected him as accused of several financial irregularities occured in previous government and placed him under suspension and booked some cases against him . Later he moved to CAT and on Tuesday and it has ordered that Krishna Kishore be allowed to go back to the Central services.
However, it said the cases of corruption and irregularities filed by the Jagan government against him could go ahead with the cases as per the law.
The Jagan government in December suspended Krishna Kishore, on the charges of corruption and misappropriation of funds during his tenure as the chief executive officer of the AP Economic Development Board (APEDB) in the previous TDP government. Krishna Kishore was brought on deputation to AP by the TDP
government, was originally working in the Central Board of Direct Taxes in the Position of additional commissioner in the income tax department in Hyderabad before 2014. He was among the few officers team who assessed the incomes of YS Jagan’s Jagati Publications and, later it leads to several consequences in AP politics
