Capital lands for house sites
The government of Andhrapradesh has came to an innovative idea to curb the TDP provoked and sponsored protests at Amaravathi region . The TDP and some of its supporters have been staging Dharna for the past two months against the shifting capital from there. Chandrababu Naidu and some other TDP leaders are participating on the protests and pointing out the YSRCP government. But now the chief minister YS Jagan mohan Reddy has taken a different step to confirm the TDP there.
Immediately the bureaucrats have started implementing the idea of the CM. The chief minister decided to give 1251 acres of land to poor as house pattas from the 34,000 acres of land acquired by the TDP government earlier.
Under the “Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu” scheme, the Jagan government has ordered the AP Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) to mark 1251.51 acres to the beneficiaries in Kuragallu, Nowluru, Mandadam, Krinayapalem, Nidamarru, Inavolu villages wchich come under capital area.
Economically weaker section would be allotted the house site each one cent here as house sites. The beneficiaries would be from the municipalities of Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, Tadepalli and Duggirala. The house patta would be given in the name of woman beneficiary of the house.
This can be considered as a intellectual step taken by the CM to gain the support of common, downtrodden public in favour of his capital shifting decision.
