Bhushan demands probe into compliant lodged by Jagan
He says sunlight kills insects
Renowned advocate Prashanth Bhushan has responded over the issue raised by AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy by lodging compliant against senior judge of supreme court justice NV Ramana. The letter written by Jagan to chief justice of India to conduct inquiry on several judges belong to AP high court including supreme court judge. Jagan also accused him of influencing the Andhra Pradesh High Court benefiting the Telugu Desam party leader. It has attracts the attention of judicial experts and constitutional experts all over the nation. Some are responding in their way. Prasanth Bhushan, a senior advocate in supreme court also raised his voice in support of Jagan.
He called for an extensive probe into the allegations made against justice NV Ramana. He stated that the serious charges of corruption require an independent investigation with three retired judges of the Supreme Court. Senior journalist RajdeepSardesai has conducted a prime time debate on India Today channel on this topic. Prasanth Bhushan also participated in the program and later tweeted tweeted, “When a CM makes serious charges of corruption against a senior judge slated to become the next CJI to the present CJI, it needs a quick, independent and credible the investigation, by 3 retired judges of the SC. No point in saying that CM is corrupt or that he should not make this public.” He said. Even he stated that sun light kills germs and he compared that letter written by Jagan is a sun light and the courts should clarify the doubts by conducting probe into that allegations made by AP CM.
