AP to become fabric hub
The government of Andhrapradesh led by the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is taking all steps to elevate the state as an industrial center by providing all basic amenities including giving permissions in a rapid way. Minister for industries M.Gowtham Reddy, has participated in a webinar organized by ‘Invest India’ and explained the efforts made by the AP government.
As per his efforts, the government is going to carve the state as hub of fabric industries and provide thousands of jobs in this sector. The state has extensive opportunities to emerge this state as leader as the state has highest cotton producer and skilled workers.
So the government would provide utmost facilities to investors in this sector and extend its support to enhance the technical skills of the technicians to work in this firms. 50 percent of subsidies will be given to the enthusiastic firm in all aspects like providing power, water and land.
Even the delegate from Brandix , apparel industry who are running a huge unit at Vizag sez said that they have initiated their unit at Visakhapatham with the support of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy in 2008 and running it in very successful way and yearly its gaining 25 percent of growth.
As of now 17,000 work force is being engaged there.’ He said. Finally the minister Gowtham Reddy stated that the government would be one step ahead than other states in attracting industries and those will be protected and encouraged. If its materialized, thousands of employments would be generated.
