AP assembly Sessions from 16
The AP cabinet chaired by the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to conduct assembly sessions from 16 June to discusses various public issues. The cabinet meeting was held at Amaravathi on Thursday and decided that the monsoon session of the assembly will commence from June 16.
But as of now there is no clarity on the number of days to be spent for this session but the business advisory committee would meet on 16 June and will take a decision on the number of days. This monsoon season can be considered as very important for the chief minister as the government is going to table the budget. Actually the budget sessions to be held in March but due to lockdown, the budget session was not held then.
Actually the central government has advised all the states to not to conduct sessions as it is not difficult to maintain physical distance in the house . But the AP government is in a mood to go forward to conduct the assembly sessions. Lets see how the government would make arrangements for assembly sessions with maintaining social distance.
