Amaravati farmers files a petition in HC on shifting of the offices to Kurnool
The farmers, who are continuing their protest against the shifting of offices from Amaravathi and establishing various offices like secretariat at Vizag and high court at Kurnool have filed a case in high court. They have filed a compliant in high court against the government of AP and the chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.They filed a petition in the High Court challenging the issue of GO in respect to the shifting of vigilance office to Kurnool.
The farmers stated in that petition that GO No. 13 was illegal and included the State Government, the Chairman of the CRDA as the respondents. The petition is expected to come for hearing on Tuesday. Recently, the government has issued an order to move the several government offices to Kurnool. On the other side the finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said there was nothing wrong with moving government offices to Kurnool. He said that the government is planning to make Kurnool as the judicial capital.
