14 Days remand for Ravindra
Former minister Kollu Ravindra, who was named in a murder incident was remanded for two weeks and he was shifted to central jail at Rajahmundry. The police could establish the involvement of Kollu Ravindra in the murder case of M.Bhaskara Rao of Machilipatnam recently. The accused Nancharaiah and three more were arrested on the second day of the incident happened. The accused, who were arrested have revealed how they were supported by the former minister Ravindra in this brutal murder and how did they escape on the day. Later police booked a case against Ravindra and deployed three special teams to search Ravindra. Intereastingly Ravindra had absconding from his home and when he was rushing towards Tuni, he was caught by the police on evening of Friday and brought him back to Vijayawada. He was produced before the court through video conference, the judge has imposed 14 days remand for the TDP leader. Hence he was shifted to central jail Rajahmundry. After the arrest of former labor minister Atchennaidu in the fraud of multi crore scandal suspected in ESI hospitals, now Ravindra is the second person from the previous TDP cabinet landing in jails on various allegations.
