"Uppena" Business With That Song
Songs are part and parcel of our Indian films. Though we come across films without songs, that's a rare case scenario. Songs play a major role in the success of a movie. A chartbuster song is enough to raise the hype thereby changing the equations of the pre-release business.
The same thing happened for several films in the recent past. 'Entha sakkagunnave' song created a huge hype on 'Rangasthalam' instantly. Inkem Inkem Kavale song turned the tables for 'Geetha Govindam'. What Samajavaragamana, Ramulo Ramula did for 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' is known to all of us. Now, a similar phenomenon is happening with 'Uppena'.
Sai Dharam Tej's brother Panja Vaisshnav Tej is debuting as a hero with 'Uppena'. Newcomer Buchi Babu Sana is wielding the megaphone for this intense love story. The makers have recently released the first single 'Nee kannu neeli samudram' recently and it is topping the music charts at present. The song composed by Devi Sri Prasad has registered more than 11 million views within a short span. It has raised the hype on the film.
The song has been penetrating into the 18-25 age group youngsters more, unlike the other hits we discussed above. Those songs have impressed all the age groups. Except for that difference, Nee kannu Neeli Samudram...is succesful in creating a business propelling hype for 'Uppena'.
