Two huge extremes for Balakrishna!
We can never completely understand the trade winds as they can create a huge storm and sweep away everything. At the same time, they are capable of blowing in favour of you, like fresh cool mountain breeze, relieving you from all tensions, giving you hope for future.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is experiencing both at the same time. On one hand, he is acting in a 70 crore budget film with Boyapati Srinu and on contrary, his Ruler is releasing with Rs. 15 crore deficit.
The same amount is being paid to Boyapati Srinu as his remuneration for the film with Balakrishna. Even NBK is getting a big bump in his remuneration for this new film. According to sources, he will receive 10.5 crores for acting in the film.
Well, Jai Simha, previous film from K.S. Ravi Kumar-C. Kalyan-NBK combination also released with a deficit but recovered costs during Sankranthi 2018. Ruler even though is coming with far bigger deficit, Christmas holidays can work in favour of the film, if everything goes right.
Prathi Roju Pandage releasing on same day, 20th December, will be a tough competitor to handle and Venky Mama will be in its second week too. If they both are too strong, then Ruler might have to face a ruling against him.
Trade pundits opine that the abysmal performance of NTR biopics made distributors highly circumspect before buying rights of a NBK film and predict that the situation might not so bad for NBK-Boyapati film, due to combination craze.
