RRR Motion Poster Review

RRR is one of the most anticipated films in India at present.  The makers have released the motion poster of RRR today.  We all know that RRR is the working title of the film and the Rajamouli team has revealed the full form of the title as 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' keeping the RRR intact.

As soon as the motion poster hit social media, discussions started on several aspects.  First of all, the audience who are going through self-quarantine for the past few days heaved a sigh of relief as they have got an interesting topic to discuss other than Covid-19.  While the fans are thrilled with the motion poster, others are not much excited about it.

They are saying that 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' title appears to be forced.  They are reminding that some speculative titles were doing rounds in the past like Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram and those titles were catchy and three words in the title have a flow between them.  When it comes to Roudram Ranam Rudhiram there is no sync between these three words.  The makers have named it based on the theme of the movie but some netizens are commenting that this title is not catchy as 'Bahubali'. They opine that the audience may continue to call it RRR despite revealing the full form.

Another aspect the netizens are pointing out is 'inspirations' part.  They are drawing comparisons with the globally popular web series GoT(Game of Thrones). Song of Ice and Fire concept in GoT which depicts the war between the Dragon Queen and The Night King.

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet" is a popular quote from Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Taking a cue from Shakespeare, we can say that it all depends on the content, not on the title. Rajamouli is known to be a master story-teller, so he can always throw a surprise with his film and mesmerize the audience.  Let us wait and see.
