RGV faces more trolls for Amma Rajyam lo Kadapa Biddalu
Ram Gopal Varma became a legend in Indian Cinema as he delivered films like Shiva, Gayam, Drohi/Antham, Rangeela, Company, Satya, Sarkar in his career from 1989 to 2007. From the moment he made Aag, a shoddy remake of Sholay, he became one of the most controversial directors, who is continuing to have a career because of his past laurels.
He always encouraged young talent as a producer and his films till Aag, had some level of balance in experimentation and story telling. Legends of Indian Cinema wanted to work with him atleast once but he lost all that respect by increasingly becoming controversy hungry.
His every act and his every step looked like an cry for attention since Aag and even though he delivered box office failures and had fetish for skin show before, he managed to find the heart of his story and deliver it properly on screen.
He missed all those beats after Raktha Charitra so much that he is now trolled more than respected. He became a laughing piece, everywhere. He started a film factory to help himself to have creative freedom and help youngsters to become directors, easily.
But with Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu, he fell so much in the eyes of audiences that even though people filled up the screens on first day, they are scolding and trolling, RGV even more for making a cheap film - content wise and production values wise too.
Siddhartha Thatolu was credited as the director of the film and we wonder if the young man can ever make another film, after this? What a fall for RGV?!
