Prakash Raj's Indirect Advice To Rajamouli
Several industries were badly hit by Covid-19 outbreak and the subsequent measures taken up by the governments. The film industry is one of them. Theaters have been closed. New releases were postponed indefinitely. Film shoots were canceled. Producers are already suffering losses. Seniors like Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, Rajamouli are saying it takes at least 6-8 months to recover from the situation. Versatile actor Prakash Raj also expressed his views on the corona crisis and the after-effects.
He said that the industry should come forward to support the daily wage workers. He appreciated Megastar Chiranjeevi and other stars to support daily wage workers in the Telugu film industry. On the other hand, he gave indirect advice to the makers of pan Indian films like Rajamouli. He said that the directors, producers should think about the pan-India and high budget films once again. He opined that they should change according to the prevailing situations otherwise they are going to land in trouble.
We can say that these are strong comments on big-ticket films. The recovery of high budget films is always a gigantic task for the filmmakers. Well, no one is able to predict the theater exhibition scenario post-Covid-19 times. Senior producers are saying that they can assess the real situation only after the theaters are reopened and the ticketing patterns are observed.
