Nikhil is flabbergasted by open piracy CD sale!
Nikhil Siddhartha was happy that after many struggles he could release his movie, Arjun Suravaram, during November last week. But he found out a shocking truth drowning him into a pool of sadness.
The movie got good Word of Mouth and Telugu people are enjoying the film, mostly in theatres. This is what everyone thought but Nikhil found out that his piracy CDs are being sold on streets for Rs. 10 and with another two movies, one CD price goes to Rs. 40/-.
Movie business is on the verge of collapse as other alternatives are shining brighter by the day. Theatres are facing huge problems with the arrival of OTT platforms and with piracy becoming a common thing.
Nikhil found the place where CDs were being sold on his way to Hyderabad from Guntur after attending a success event. All he could do was make a video and plead audiences to not watch movies on pirated copies. Well, what else can anyone do?
