Lessons To New Heroes From Vijay Deverakonda
Given the wide scope for opportunities, the Telugu Film Industry has been the grazing pasture for many aspiring heroes and each day a new face pops up. However, the same is not the case with success. As it is the industry is dominated by film family heroes so withstanding that competition and emerging as a star is a tough mission.
However, if one needs to draw few lessons, it has to be from the radical stud Vijay Deverakonda. When ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ came, nobody really recognized him as a hero. When ‘Pelli Chupulu’ worked it was because of variety in the content and some of them felt it became a fluke hit. But ‘Arjun Reddy’ is an altogether different case.
The film worked primarily because Vijay showed the arrogance that no other hero could have shown. He had an out of the box characterization and he infused life into it. Even the promotions, his Telangana dialect added to the spice. Vijay is now in the range of Charan, Allu Arjun and that too without a background. So, new heroes if they come with routine love stories it doesn’t work even if they score success. They have to do out of the box stuff and Vijay is the benchmark to that.
