The grand pre-release event of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 is the talk of the town today. The event will be held at Haailand resort grounds in Guntur and the entire cast and crew of the movie is expected to be present. Further, ever since rumours began circulating that Pawan Kalyan too might attend the event, there has been a lot more buzz about the Mega reunion on the same stage, a feat that hasn’t been repeated in a long time now.
The event was originally supposed to be held in Vijaywada on January 4; however, the makers had to shift the venue to Guntur owing to government officials denying permission among various other things. The issue turned into a big debate, but the makers were quick to diffuse tension and quash rumours about why they were denied permission in first place.
The pre-release event is expected to draw thousands of people and it’s going to offer a glimpse of Chiranjeevi’s mass image. After all, it’s been more than nine years since he acted in a full-fledged role in Telugu films. The Telugu moviedom is waiting for its King to return and Khaidi No 150, given all the hype, could enter the record books within no time.
Directed by VV Vinayak, the film has Chiranjeevi in dual roles, along with Kajal Aggarwal. Ram Charan has produced the film under Konidela Production company. DSP has scored the music and Rathnavelu is the cinematographer. Khaidi No 150 will hit the screens on January 11.
